I may be wrong, but I don't recall Ruger ever producing this model. It is a 45 Colt/45 ACP convertible. Just askin'. Owner says it is factory?????

Well, I asked the seller about the documentation on the end of the box and cylinder serial numbers.
His response:

"Well. They both have an 8 stamped in the back. No other stamps or serial numbers on the cylinders. They are both original and fitted in the factory to the revolver.
Thanks!"

No matter, I think he had a buyer. I think I pissed him off for inquiring about the revolver. Oh well..

This would be an X gun. No evidence of Ruger building a 7.5" barreled 45 caliber Bisley convertible. 5.5" convertible yes.

My apologies.
I wrote that later last night, and after I went to bed,, I realized I had forgotten the part about the spare cylinder. In my reading of the post, I remembered I have a 7-1/2" Bisley and that prompted me to respond. Funny how the mind sees one thing & forgets a detail.

You are correct.

(I almost got up & corrected it last night.)
