This is the son of a long time Ruger collector that passed away a few years ago. Have purchased a few items from him.

What type of box is it, looks like an RST on steroids, I can understand that there would be considerable interest in it if it went up for auction. I do not what it is, but I would certainly be bidding on it

What 308 said. It's only about 45 minutes north of me too. I'm not sure exactly what remains, but I know there's a LOT of stuff he did have.

The images are not mine...but

I TOTALLY forgot all about this, I can't believe I have one of these, got in 1976, traded my Smith model 29 for it, I remember it was a tri color and when I first seen it, it looked like a toy, compared to the model 29.
Now the search is on to track it down.

Just seen a black box sell, $875.00, and it was in average condition at best. Who knows what the green would bring
