Phoenix Gun Show Find, 1st Year 30 Carbine

Collected this first year 30 Carbine BH at the show yesterday. 35XX number and conservative 98%. Owner said he fired it when he bought it new and was way to loud for him!! Has been put up since.... So I told him I would take the problem off his hands. I have two others and this is the first 1968 model.

Thanks, the early grips seem to have more grain and depth. Normally I have seen the best grips from late 50's, to say around the mid 60's.

Man oh man.. Nice job. I was at that event and woulda bagged it if'n I'd seen it 1st! lol I have a few of the .30 Carbines. They're a real hand-cannon.

A lot of people around here thought these pistols in this caliber never got the recognition they deserved due to shooting military ammo that was underpowered.
Not sure why but think Ruger should give them another try
This one is to nice to shoot.
