Ah-ha a fine caliber--I have been told---RR that gun sure has a nice polish to it 8) usually not that good on a protected sight gun-except the SUPERS--must be its a early gun :!: showing my lack of knowledge now :) but it does --to me--look nicely finished. NO machine marks on the screws --yes a more polished gun-----

Wayne, I have all my guns polished out at the local bumper shop    it has a lot of oil on it so it may look a little better than when it is wiped clean.....RR.

NOPE  SORRY but that gun just has a nice FACTORY polish---JMHO :p I do know the 1XXX flattop I found years ago had a real super polish on the cylinder --we looked at that gun for two years trying to fault it --but it was a early run in the making and the cylinder just got polished a little more same with that early make just a nice polish on the gun 8) :D I'm holding my ground on my OPINION-------------------- o seen those turned birds on every model ruger made :p
