I've run across 2 Redhawks in .357 one 7.5" and the other looks to be 5 or 6". Both Stainless. Seller claims they are rare. I figure maybe scarce but would not think rare. Asking price $700 ea. What are they worth?

They are rare and no longer made. $700 is about the going price for them. I saw the 5.5 inch one on GON. If you want the strongest 357 double action ever built, this is it.

Condition is important though...

The 5.5" one is much rarer and IMO worth more than $700 (LNIB) but the 7.5" one is probably only $700 LNIB.

Scarce would be more accurate than Rare as they do pop up regularly.

Thanks, I bought it new, have shot it some, stored for a decade or so while on road working, ex sister-in-law tossed box and all paperwork while stored and have no clue what I paid for it or what worth is now, just was curious. I'm guessing that is close to what I paid for it new.

I must have passe hi table 5 times, was thinking about picking it up for that price, but I really wanted the smaller barrel. It was still there at the end of the day, i assume it sold the following day.

RENE says likely not over 5,000 of each made. Rare in my book for sure.

Wouldn't surprise me for him to get his price for those at $700.00 each. One was on a recent local action, mint with no box, that brought $650.00 but reserve was not met and the seller packed it back home!
