have a odd? 5 1/2 inch slabside MK II but was wondering "why" there is no roll markings on the right side for the 'Gov. Model or Competition'??

Is this correct? and according to RENE claims 500 made......hhmmm

Should this one have the referred to markings on the right side? I've had it for several years and really know nothing about MKII's. Sorry if this side tracks the thread.

your gun is the Lipseys version , but with a gold trigger, and has the "L" in the catalog number, made in 2003.........another variation, and at 500 made ,not many...I like the 5.5 barrel, kinda makes sense, and your gun should be drilled & tapped for the Ruger base........nice one

I kind of like the looks of that one Dan.
Always was really fond of those target grips.
