I'm sorry that no other's have replied to your question.

Neat gun! The holster wear on the cylinder and ejector housing detract from the value. The "contoured" walnut grips "enhance" the value. The rather "straight" trigger and "fresh" looking hammer hint that the gun DOES NOT have its' original lockwork. "Transfer Bar" components are likely present.

Value? $375 to a lot more depending on originality of components.

The gun is original, no transfer bar and the picture is of poor quality.
The trigger is the same as yours below..
I'm glad Rugers have no value, my son doesn't take care of guns, so
no big deal leaving it to him..
I have two flat bolts (.308 and .270) going to keep them also for him.
Thanks for the information..enjoy the forum

A few weeks back, there was a as new in box 4-digit on Gunbroker. It started at .01 with no reserve. It brought $1278 plus $25 shipping. I thought that was an extremely fair price for that settup. My good Ruger buddy FT44 said the bx was $400, so that put that mint FT at $903. This was what one FT brought, but I think the no reserve auctions on GB are a good way to price firearms.

The "early" .44 Magnum Blackhawks were fitted with "skinny/well curved" triggers.

The "thick" triggers appeared with the Type III guns, around s/n 10000. RENE Ruger Reference, p. 39. Perhaps some maintenance was performed "back in the day".
