While working a local gunshow I picked up two Old Armies and one Old Army Box. The seller did not know which revolver went in the box. The serial numbers are 140-419xx with warning on the barrel and 140-050xx with no warning. The box is black with red end and the red eagle in the middle like my Super Blackhawk boxes. End of the box is marked Caliber 45 7 1/2 inch (not 44) like another boxed Old Army I own. Which revolver belongs in my old box?

Just a guess here. My 4 digit BP 7B came with the black and yellow box, numbered to the gun. Red and black with the later date?

"Early" gun in the two piece box. "Late" gun in the one piece box. :D

Yup, looks like I will need a new light bulb for the closet. Red and black for the Old Army 4 digit too.
