Scope Ring Bags...

I was asked a question, and I plain don't know the answer.

The felt scope-ring bags that Ruger used to supply...

Were they identical to the cylinder bags? :?

IIRC I seem to remember that they were. Always understood the cylinder bag, but not the one for the rings.

Mine are the same except for color many are blue or green for the # 1

Same as Cylinder bags, w/yellow/gold cord........ EXCEPT, royal medium blue, royal medium green, and medium grey, all made of same type material as the red bags. Frankly, I call it FELT. I do not have a perspective for Year dating of use of the various colors........

Can anybody post a picture of these bags in any of the colors?

Right now it iis at the top of the posting lists. Colors, sizes adn custom bags NDIH

Hope this helps, have always looked at this, but all my cylinders have the original Ruger bags where needed. Always thought this was a neat way to go for someone looking for these however!
