A Remington rolling block in 50-70 caliber. It started out as a New York State Militia rifle. At some time someone has shortened the barrel and stock.
The action is good with tight lock up and the bore is shiny with only a couple of dark spots. The outside of the gun looks like crap. It probably sat around in someone`s attic or barn from many years and allowed to rust. And was later cleaned up.
I have shot it a few times over the years, but not much. Doesn`t shoot too bad for an old ugly clunker.

Shep I like it -- 8) old gun :) It would look good on the wall of my small little dwelling--always like the ROLLING BLOCKS and single shot rifles in general.
