I would like to thank all of you who responded about a month ago to advice for newcomer in selecting books about Rugers.

I found the advice to be very helpful and have acquired a couple of the books you all recomended. I am especially amazed at the fine details included in "Ruger & His Guns". All of this information will no doubt prove invaluable in my "Ruger Education".
