Old model Blackhawk 41 mag SN: 3914

Just got off the phone with Ruger records checking about the supposedly plated 41mag. under discussion. Just as I had expected it shipped with a blue finish in January 1966. I just love some of the stories you hear at gunshows. Most of them are a bunch of baloney. :roll:

Spoke with Munnell the other day who said he saw another "Red Eagle" Single-Six at a recent show!
Makes me wonder how many times the rare "Red Eagle" Single-Six has changed hands among some of these guys..... :roll:

we see 'red painted' ones all the time, as well as some "plated" guns, and they ALL have a story...... :roll:
