What are these grips...factory or after market ????

Here is a set with the Ruger on the bottom. I know several were done of the black plastic but this other set is solid brass :shock: I called Jack Behn a few months before he passed on and he really did not remember making them but his comment to me was back in those days we did all kinds of things over at Pine Tree.




Here are some of the other proto type grips. I think one is gold with flake in them and the other is white with gray swirl.



I know I have several other colors I just need to find the pictures or the grips themselves and take more pictures of them.

I have always liked those with the big, molded-in "RUGER" script.

They kinda border on being tacky, but still . . .

I wouldn't mind trying the brass ones. Wonder if they would have any bearing on felt recoil?
