6mm RS Flatbolt

[/img]Picked this one up a few weeks ago at a real bargain [been accused of stealing] Serial # 70-107xx. Note Mershon pad and straight stock. Question is, Isn't serial a little late for this configuration?Dr.C

Doc, I have M77RS 243 sn 70-10213 listed with straight eject port, square pad. However I have M77R 243 sn 70-01907 listed with cut down eject port, square pad so it's anybodys guess.

The highest M77 I have noted with the straight eject port area of the stock is 70-14664.

Yes, sn 70-14664 was an M77RS 308 shipped Nov. 1970. I found that rifle at Cabelas and sold it back in 2008.

Stock has a date of Nov 29, 1969 stamped in the barrel channel. Dr.C
