S47 shipper with a 6 1/2 BBL marked on the label

I have never seen one of these BUT know I own one....it is actually STAMPED 6 1/2 and marked S47 as the model......not scratched out like some I have seen.....now I know the boxes are remarked but the shipper has 6 1/2 right on it......KOOL.....RR.

knowing how frugal they tended to be then, I'm suprised they spent any money to have a stamp that read 6 1/2" barrel... neat!

mike, I thought that BUT maybe they had movable type style like a price gun has or something similar.....RR
