The M77's started with 70-0000x in 1969. About 3000+ M77's were numbered with non-prefix numbers in 1968. Nice steal!! See you at Tulsa.

I have one also. I didn't get it that cheep, but I did well. They're out there if you look. Prices are down on common (relative term) flatbolts. Now's a good time to start that collection.

I did buy a flatbolt M77RS in .22-250 in 99% shape but no box for $525. Only one I've ever seen. Even bought it off a public forum. (Sorry, had to brag a little. I won't tell you about the times I was 'tooken'.)

The .22-250 is a great find. I bought one many years ago at a local gun show that has a steel floor plate and trigger guard. didn't give as much as you did for yours, but it seemed like too much at the time! Dr.C

Yes it is a RS and they are very rare. Terry thought he had serial #'s of most of them but he didn't have mine....he does now. Gary
