Good one Carl!! :D
I know that there is one with the letters SR, and one type with
the word Ruger on it thats well made and another Taiwan Buckle
that is crudely made. Only 10,369 more to find

I sure like the Freedom arms buckle with the REAL gun in it---I think a few other brands are providing that option now 8)

Ah, and I think you guys missed the fact that the F-A buckle gun is a percussion revolver! One can see the little "slots" that permit one to "pick" off the fired caps.

This image of the "Boot Gun" shows the slots......

The two buckles in the center with RUGER are Taiwans. I have another one I can't find right now which has the SR, Taiwan, crudely made though.

The Wilson Buckle bottom right corner still has the store label on it. :)

Can we back up and discuss one Buckle in my posted image?

The buckle just above the Freedom Arms Mini Revolver was given to me by a dear friend. It's oval, with a Eagle Logo in the center and the "background" is black. I've NEVER been able to find out when/where etc.

TIA for any help,

Carl,
I stole these pics here on the forum awhile back! Maybe they can help.

Look at the top and bottom buckels on far right, then the backs are shown in the second one. If its the bottom one I can give you a little info.

I have read (often) that half the "Ruger" buckles were never sanctioned by Sturm, Ruger & co. "Custom" or basement one-offs just don't count in a collection. ?

It's be interesting for the company to comment on this, although there's no profit in it so it'll never happen...

I'd certainly believe that statement! I know that Hank, Jr. got WBR's permission to use a modified version of the Ruger Eagle.

Terry That't what I'm talking about!! I think those are 22 rim fire. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If you'd like to part with it let me know ps.
