10" .44 flattop question

Guys can you have a quick look at this 10" and tell me if you think the grips look original. medallions look a bit yellowish. It is a 1959 - worth picking up?

Were there only around 1000 of these produced?

It would help if we could get a close up picture of just the grips. This gun should have varnished walnut grips, which is what it looks like in your picture. If you take the grips off. The grip frame should be marked XR3. As for the Medallions, the grips could have been refinished and the varnish may have gotten into the medallions making them a little yellow.

Done deal - bought it. I have confirmed the color issue is just from a flash photo . This is going to look nice next to my 1960 Super!! Good photos in a couple of weeks after I get it.

(Bought this one) BKH 40 serial number 18980, .44 magnum, circa 1959.

BKH47 - 7.5 inch, serial number 22778, .44 magnum, varnished walnut stocks, circa 1960.

BKH 46 - 6.5 inch 44 magnums Ruger hard rubber stocks, serial # 9289, circa 1958,

BKH 46 - 6.5 inch 44 magnums Ruger hard rubber stocks (British Proof Marks) serial number 26840, circa 1961.

BHK 34 - 4 and 5/8 inch barrel, .357 magnum, serial number 35734, varnished walnut stocks, circa 1961.

Those guns were pictured on here earlier this year correct? Think I remember the pics and that Brisitsh Proof marked gun.

GOOD GRIEF :lol: Thats a whole collection--I would be coming up for air or drown if someone layed all those in front of me--- I would drown if a bank would not give me a loan :) and those banks are tight these days :!:
