My new 1957 RSS

It may have been fired but outside of a couple of scratches and a small discoloration on the last digit of the serial number it is in excellent condition. Bought from the same older gent that I got the '58 flattop from. No box or papers. Up here for some reason you seldom find a boxed gun.

Good for you a very nice RSS--like that dimpled button--never seen many in the 60 XXX range.

That is a fine looking RSS, I do love the XR3 Single-Sixes!!

That's a good find, an early Roundgate with all the late Flatgate features except the loading gate.

My single six journey continues. The old gentleman who sold me this RSS has now tempted me with an early 1955 flatgate apparently in nicer shape than this one. I'll post pics in a couple of weeks when it arrives.
