XR-3 sheephorn grips

Does anyone have a set of XR-3 grips made out of sheephorn? I am wanting to get a set made and would like to have a set of Ruger black eagle medallions installed on them. Where would be best place to start looking? If anyone has a set they would want to part with send me a pm with price. Thank You krw

It is a real longhsot to find a set for an XR-3 I would think. You best bet would be to contact Patrick at Grashorn or Paul Persinger. I believe Aggie1 posted a pictured in the Gallery secton of a set of bisleys Patrick did so you can see his work.

Sheephorn grips by Patrick Grashorn on a New Model Blackhawk .357 Magnum made for the RCA last year.

The Ruger monograms in these grips would not be correct for an original XR-3 frame, but if you supply him with the correct monograms, he can install them.
