Some might not agree. But I think this is a very cool concept that I wish would of made it beyond the prototype phase. I have a Browning BLR takedown that will outshoot the nontakedown version all day long. Seeing neat ideas like this make me miss Bill even more.

Wow-I am an old tang safety/red pad guy and do not want a Mk II. But I would make an exception for this one-if I had the cash. It definitely isn't cheap.

I'll take a 35 whelan please. I really think there would of been a demand. The Browning BLR takedowns began as a SHOT show special and are now a catalog item. Hell Bill did a lot of things as production that were less popular then this would been. A real shame too that Ruger is selling this stuff. I guess if it ain't plastic Ruger won't have anything to do with it.

If you are willing to part with $4,500 to $5,000 for a new gun, HS Precision makes these today. Concept is alive and well, but not cheap...

I am impressed. Suggest that WBR made a mistake in not offering this model............. 8) MIKE(Who would have purchased one in 270 and 308.)

I whole heartedly agree, this would make an awesome packing rifle for backwoods hunts. I would still really like to see this model made and often wonder why WBR wouldn't have made it!
