Forgive me if this has been posted, news release is a few days old but I just saw it:

For those unfamiliar, Kim has been in "Records" (AKA Exports) for years and signs the factory letters attesting to as-shipped configurations.

(NYSE-RGR) is pleased to announce that Kim Pritula, Director of Export/ATF Compliance & Security, has been appointed to the President's Export Council Subcommittee on Export Administration (PECSEA). Pritula's export control knowledge and expertise will help PECSEA develop ways to reform and maintain an efficient and effective export control system in an ever-changing global marketplace.

"Kim has a very unique talent and passion for export regulation and plays a critical role in the Sturm, Ruger organization," said Ruger President and CEO Mike Fifer. I love it when one of "our folks" does good!
I happen to have the pleasure of seeing Kim at a few shows,, and can attest to the fact she's a smart lady.

That's my take as well. Nowhere does it say she is leaving Ruger.
