Red Label

I need some help. The Red Label (12ga) w/ fixed chokes. On the pistol grip there is a red Ruger insert but on the fore end the insert is gold. What I believe is that the fore end is a replacement and NOT the orginal. Can anyone verify what the Rugser insert should be? :?:
