4 digit Supers

My avatar #4628 and #2856 Non eagle barrel

Beautiful! my avatar is 5694

Is 2856 a long frame?

That was my thought when I first got it,but it isn't. The grips at the bottom are just cut at a diffrent angle.

Cool! My first really collectible Ruger was a 50XX Super w/ Mahogany.

I have a few 4 digit Supers.

1468 Cased Long Frame, Eagle Barrel
2093 Standard Cased Super w/o Eagle Barrel
5684 High Polish Cased Super, Eagle Barrel

I know where there are a zillion more...... UTAH!

# 4628 Just looking @ the gun it is most likely a White Boxed Super with out knowing the ship date.

Ship date was Aug 1960 according to Ruger. My late father got it new that same year. So he told me,,,,He would have known I guess. Always a cased Super.
