Just curious what others 'need' to buy this coming year. I really think I am down to just one, a Ruger 77 RS 22 250 tang safety. Unless, I maybe a Garand comes along, or a 10 22 magnum, or a .....
So curious what's on your 2011 resolution to buy.

Well, any M77 hollow bolt, prefer RS. Any flat bolt 7X57. An SR40 Black Slide. A Super Redhawk for cuttin' down into a home made Alaskan (needs to be cheap).

I know I need at least 3 more 10/22's and gotta ad at least one #1 each yr... Looking more at getting planned projects finish than adding more. Quality not quantity!

Well, I managed to get several Rugers in 2010,, so my resolution list hasn't been updated.
First,, I'm sure a few OM's will pop up requiring me to spend hard earned $$ to enhance my collection. Next,, I'm thinking a LCR to use in WOT clinics. Then there will be a few new items from Ruger I'll probably have to buy. (We'll see at the SHOT Show.) I'd like to luck into a nice OM Long Framed Super,, (boxed of course,) Maybe a 2 digit gun,, or something consecutive to one I already have. A 7-1/2" 357 Maxi would be nice as well as a few more OM 41 mags to accompany the few I already have. Maybe that 32 Mag SP-101 will appear too.
All in all,, I don't plan a "gotta have" resolution list,, as I never know what or when something is gonna pop up.
I will say that I may indulge myself by starting 2011 with a BSA 10/22.
So,, I guess my 2011 resolution list will be to buy whatever I can at prices I can afford & smile when I get them. I only hope to exceed my 2010 gun purchases of 10 guns (which was down from 2009 by 3 guns.) So,, to exceed 2009 or 2010,, I need to by at least 14 guns,,,,, in 2011! Who says I'm not doing my part to help the economy!

Five or six RSSE's at two grand apiece would just be thrilling..........Especially if they showed up at one time.......... 8)

Aww, is that all? Shucks, you guys with more that 1.236 humans per 1000 acres have a better chance.........

Well for 2010 I added 38 guns to my collection. For 2011 I would like to find serial number 300514 in a T678 a black eagle RST4 in the 67xxx to 69xxx range a 6" Armamex ohh and a Chrome red eagle maybe a few "S" auto's a T678 Black eagle in the 25xxx range and a few U.S. guns I don't have yet. Thats just for the early auto's.
And I can't forget the memorabilia :) I sure would like to find a few more Sturm Foxes. :D

Gosh I could help fill a few of Rick and Tyrone's 2011 aspirations....let see I have a SS consecutive to Ty's, I have several of Rick's wishes..a fox,an S gun, a 25xxx Black Eagle.....but then I wouldn't have them

Me I am going to cut back this year.....   .....maybe start doing SMITHs or COLTs...that way I could only afford a couple a year    but heck I guess I am with Hawkeye as I am sure that if any 2K engraved guns show up I might be a little excited.... :) :) :)

ADD a 10 inch 357 box to the list.....thanks Doc44 for reminding me....RR

I hope to buy my first OM; ideally in 44 mag; but perhaps a 357 - will be a shooter.
