New Model S47N "No Roll Mark"

A fellow WAC member contacted me about this S47 and wondered if I would be interested. The gun has no roll marking on the barrel. Looks like quality control was day dreaming that day at the Ruger plant.
Just another interesting peice for a collection.

Did you check under the ejector rod? If so that is a pretty cool piece. Got three like it in 41 mag myself.

Yes I checked under the ejector rod housing and nothing is there. Also the barrel has been rifled. Another collector told me he had one with no roll marks and never been rifled as well. Few years back I come across a P 90 auto pistol with no rifling.
