Nice Liberty KNR4, Not to many of those around. Old model cylinders?

The blue one should have the non fluted Mag. cylinder as this change was done in 1975. Most if not just about all of the Stainless Steel "Non Cataloged" 4 5/8 in barreled Single-Sixes had the Mag. cylinder fluted. The 5 1/2 and 6 1/2 in. Stainless Steel Guns came both ways in 1976, both fluted and non fluted Mag. cylinders.

RR My 4 5/8 blue 200 yr. serial number is 64-52407. My 4 5/8 in Stainless Steel 200 th yr. serial number is 64-65074. Are they consecutive to yours!!!

Terry, those 200th year guns were at the last OGCA, in fact the guy had a LOT of 200th year guns, and many were bought the night before ,on Friday night during 'set up'.......nice guns RR, Laura used to have those back when she collected MORE 22's and even 'new models' but she sold off ,ALL the new models years ago...this was back when Phil Hardin was about the ONLY collector of 200th year guns.....nice ones
Oh and by the way, these guns above, were at Ohio prices ....... 8)

RR, I had both of my guns for sale when we set up next to each other at Harrisburg a couple of years ago. I guess you over looked them, looking at my group of Cased Supers that you bought from me.

Terry, Yes the NR4s are sleepers. I have seen less of those then the KNR4s. Don't know why??? I only had a chance to buy one which I did. Never had a chance to get another.

It letters as a 1976 KNR5.

But it is in a KNR4 box with the matching SN on the side in grease pen (yellow, I think, but I haven't looked at it in years) that looks just like all the other NM SN writing of that period. Barrel looks perfect, 200th year rollmark is centered, crown looks right.

Just won't letter :(
