I believe the bronze 22/45 will also be a very scarce model, if not rare.
If Ruger only produces it for the 4R program, I've heard from one distributor that most of the dealers are taking the more expensive models for their "freebie", like the SR556 etc.
So far, the one mentioned in this thread is only the 6th I've heard of.

Just got ours the other day...390-86225 with a July 24, 2014 Born on date.
I'm wondering if all that Ruger ever made were produced before the 4R program even began?
These are going to be tough to come by. I hear most of the people who went after their freebie's in this 4R program went for the more expensive items, i.e. SR556 etc.

What is everybody else's serial numbers on these?? With enough serial numbers we might be able to tell how many were produced.

So far I know of the following:

390-83661
390-83805
390-83968
390-84032
390-84142
390-84173
390-84183
390-84367
390-84382
390-84541
390-84707
390-84892
390-84900

390-85244

390-86018
390-86023
390-86024
390-86068
390-86074

390-86225
390-86244

390-86557
390-86570
390-86575
390-86752
390-86767

Also, do all of these have a July Born-on-date??

Just adding a few numbers above...sure is interesting with the wide spread of serial numbers in the blocks, that these Bronze Lite's aren't just anywhere to be found.

LGS had one. If it's still there the next time I go I'll get you the number.

BTW, I didn't think much of them from the pictures but in real life the color is much better looking.

Wow!! This serial number range is a lot larger than I ever suspected.
Granted, there may be some regular model black 22/45's in there as well as some Cobalts mixed inn between, but it would seem right now there might be several thousand of these bronze lites.
Guess we'll know when some distributor buys the group all in one shot.

A dealer at a local gun show had two of them on Saturday. Sorry, I forgot to get the serial numbers.

The interesting thing to me was that I could clearly see a difference in the color between them. I picked them up to be sure that it wasn't just the lighting. The darker one was bronze while the lighter one was more of a gold color.

If anybody wants one...Davidson's still has a few left. Ruger let Davidson's have what they wanted so Davidson's has had around 700 so far.
