I just picked up a New Vaquero with their so called CCH and I don't care for it. If I like the revolver and keep it, I was wondering who would be good to do a real CCH/blue job and what should I expect for the job?
Thanks

I have used Doug Turnbull and he does an awesome job. If your going to have the whole gun refinished I would just send it in to Bowen classic arms and get his Western Classic Conversion. CCH is part of this package and he sends it into Turnbulls for the process. Heres a 357 Anniversary with this package plus some things you just cant see.

I am partial to Turnbull. I live close by (too close-too many temptations.) and their work is first rate.

Here are a couple they have done for me recently.

I too give a vote for Turnbull. While I don't own any of them currently,, I used to own a converted 357 to 44 spl that Bowen had done & I believe Turnbull did the CCH. VERY top quality work. Plus,,, GREAT folks as I've had the pleasure of talking with some of them a few times.
