Does the gun still time right , then not a problem.
If it does not time right , then it is a problem.
Anything more definitive is gonna require a picture.

if the cyl carries up and locks in place on each chamber when cocked very slow, no worries. if the has been fired much at all, it should 'contact' wear. But it's not excessively worn unless the timing is often.
