After digging deeper into this 410 double I discover that it doe's have mechanical means to retract the fireing pins. The gun has been refinished and is clean as a pin inside. I think the cocking plunger has been replaced and it doe's not contact the cocking lever soon enough. The cocking plunger and cocking lever is supposed to retract the fireing pins as it is cocking the gun. I have'nt found a plunger for it and would appreciate any leads on old parts suppliers.
Thank you for all of the replies on the old topic, (Springfield 410 double will not open after fireing.)
