BTW; Being a bit technical here; An Old Model doesn't have a transfer bar. And Ruger never built an OM Vaquero. You most likely have an Original Vaquero, vs a New Vaquero.

Yes, to quote our "street"......."All Vaqueros are New models...." ( until they get "older" and become the "older model" of said gun...... :roll:

as for "slicking one up", lots of ammo, practice, practice ,practice.....and guess what , two things happen...the action WILL actually smooth up AND your trigger finger builds up ,and strengthens,, and the trigger will "feel" lighter....time is your friend 8) :roll: :wink:
