I have read that some of the bearcats can be rechambered to 22 wmr.
Has anyone done this? What were the results? Who did the work? Thanks.

Thank you. That appears to be a newer model. The old brass trigger
guard one appear to have to short a cylinder.

I converted a couple of the New Model Shopkeepers to .22WMR. All of the newer Ruger .22 barrel's are .224 & work fine. Interestingly, the accuracy improved afterwards.

You can rent or buy a reamer and do it yourself. Very simple, very little metal is removed from a LR cyl.

For the older models with short cyl the easiest thing to do is to ream for the WRF. Used to be an obsolete cartridge until the last couple of years but now manufactured again. Pretty close to magnum specs and they fit in the shorter cyl.

That shopkeeper looks great. I would like that, or any other that
could be converted to the 22 wmr. I know that you can still use 22 wrf
in the 22 wmr.
