I really like my Single Six 32 H&R Mag but would like a barrel longer then the 5 1/2 " that's on it now. Would like 7 1/2" like the new SS Sevens. Is this possible and who does the work

Well,,, Ruger offers a "Single-Seven" in 327 Mag as you have mentioned. I have not seen any take off barrels,,, but I'd say try & talk to custom gunsmiths to see if they may have a spare barrel. Any good gunsmith should be able to install it.
Try our own member 2 dogs to start with. (He's been fooling with a few customs,,, and may have a barrel.)
After that,, maybe Dave Clements, Bowen, Hamilton, etc to see if a barrel is to be found.

I would think that a 7.5" barrel is going to be a hard find.

The cost of buying a new gun w/ 7.5" barrel, selling the 5.5" ,,, the difference has to be real close ...

Thom,

You must have one of the recent stainless 32 H&R mags. Fairly rare.
I suspect you want to keep the traditional 6 shot gun with fluted cyl.

If that's the case, buy a used 7 1/2" Single 7, have barrels swapped and resell the S7. It's likely in greater demand with the 5 1/2" barrel than with a 7 1/2" and therefore easier to resell.
