Sight repair single ten?

I've a single ten I bought about a month ago. The light pipe in the front sight fell out. Is it possible to put it back? Which way does the large end go? towards the front or the but?

The bigger end faces the rear. But,, make sure the fiber optic piece didn't break. If it slid out, it may have been too short, and gotten chipped to where it wouldn't stay in. I've had to replace fibers in several sights due to this. (USPSA competition.) A polite call to Ruger can get you a replacement most likely.

Thanks! I got it back in but the end is broken will call Ruger. Don't know if it fell out because the end broke or if it broke for to falling out.

Fiber optic material can be fragile. Not an uncommon thing. Ruger will help.
