HELP!!!!!! Need info on an original PC9 Carbine

I had a gunsmith call me & ask if I knew how to smooth up a trigger on a Ruger PC9 Carbine. One of the original ones,,, not the newly released one.
The owner has a long take-up, and heavy trigger pull & wants it smoothed up & hopefully tightened up a bit.

HELP !!!!!!!

I can understand the concern, but I wouldn't let anyone mess with mine. Even the best smiths make mistakes sometimes. One mistake on a PC creates an expensive paperweight due to the lack of parts availability.

From my understading nothing can be done. If I remember right a Member here and former Ruger employee " coffeepot" I believe, who worked on the original PC9 said the trigger was part of the stock and was not something you could adjust or work on.
