I do not remember the formula for sight correction. I know it is distance in inches, amount the impact difference from the point of aim and distance between front and rear sight. :oops:

Measure the distance to the target in inches. Measure the distance from the rear face of the front sight to the rear face of the rear sight (sight radius). In inches and desimals,not fractions.
Divide the distance to the target by the sight radius. This number is the KEY number.
Now divide the distance you want the bullet impact to move by the KEY number. Express this distance in desimals not fractions. Example , 5 1/2" = 5.500
The answer is the amount the sight needs to be moved. Move the rearsight in the direction you want the bullet to go. Move the front sight in the opposite direction you want the bullet to move.
