old model bisley hammers

I bought 2 bisley hammers from gun parts corp.Asm factory
seconds the notches are toast going to cut hammer portion
off and tig weld to old mdl hammer.hopefully it will work out

Cool! Please post pics when you're done. David Clements makes and sells these on a limited basis, and while he does excellent work, they are both spendy, and only infrequently available.

Looking forward to seeing how they turn out. I have David's bisley spurred hammers on every old model Ruger I own and while they are spendy, they are the nicest I have sen or used.

Power Customs makes an old model Bisley hammer but only for large frames. And the 'hump must be removed for using with a standard plow handle grip frame. So still has to be shortened for a Single Six size frame.
Therefore might just as well start with a NM Bisley hammer and graft the spur to an old model hammer base.
