Looking for a youth stock for Ruger American

Just bought a .243 for the granddaughter. The stock is too long for her. If anyone has a shorter stock they are willing to part with, I am interested. Or is there an aftermarket adjustable stock for it? I already checked ATI, no luck. Thanks in advance.

Ruger makes a couple of Compact Americans in 243 with a 12.5" Length of Pull. Perhaps you could find a trade.

Ruger sells them for around $20 each. I needed a longer one for the American Rimfire and got one on sale last week for around $18 shipped from eBay. Unfortunately, my kids prefer the shorter reach so we are keeping both or I'd be happy to send you the shorter one.
