Is the center pin lock hole on an SP101 chamfered on one side? Not sure if mine is peened or if it's a design feature.

Welcome to the Forum!
Please clarify. I do not recall the SP-101 having an internal lock. And if you are using Photobucket,, you'll have to find a different host for Forum pics.

I'm referring to the hole in which the cylinder center pin locks into on the recoil Shield. What is the best way/site to host/post pics?

We feel your pain about photobucket. Many of us have switched to Imgur for our picture hosting chores. Be sure to resize them to fit the Forum. (I use 864x576)

The hole that is in the center of the cylinder (center of the ejector star) should NOT have any flat spots on it. It should be nice and round and the cylinder lock pin should fit in it completely (other than the clearance to allow the pin to move when you press on the cylinder release).

The only thing that is chamfered in the cylinder is the ejector (flat on one side) to keep it indexed correctly.
