To fix a RH that I suspect has a 'large-throat' issue ?

It won't shoot straight as is.

If the gun does indeed have large chamber throats, the cylinder needs to be replaced. I would personally invest the few dollars required for a few pin gages in the appropriate size range, and determine if the throats are actually too large. If they are, return the gun to Ruger for a cylinder replacement - assuming that they acknowledge it as a problem.
