Scope Mounting on Revolver?

I just received my new Revolver in 44 Mag. I am putting a scope on the integral scope mount. I have a set of Warne Medium Rings that I mounted my Nikon 2x scope. There is more than enough clearance to use lows that will lower the scope to the barrel another 1/8". Will this make much of a difference or should I use what I have?

It depends upon YOUR preferences. A lower scope may have issues with cocking the hammer. A lot also depends upon your grip & how you hold the gun.

On a revolver I can not see 1/8" making much difference at all.
