32shooter - Pictures are in the General Topics, Firearms & Knifes - Other Brands.
It's the Smith-Wessonforum . com (blue SW forum).

The Thread is about 3/4 of the way down called "Winchester Model 37A 12ga Gold
Trigger Single Shot Found".

Hope that helps you find the Topic and see the Pictures.

I'm hoping to get out this weekend and try it out on some Clay Pigeons.

Thank you for the Reply

Norseman, I did find it. That would be a good one to refinish the wood on. I did this Marlin last winter. Hand rubbed oil finish and had the metal carakoted. Or just leave it like it is and use it. The only reason I did the Marlin is some of the blueing was in bad shape. Nice find!

Thank you. Those Marlin 39s are great. You really did a great job
refinishing your 39.

Ya, I thought about refinishing the Win 37A stocks, but for now I'm going
just leave as is and enjoy it. Of course it will be well taken care of now.

As a side note; my Bother has the 39 like yours (unbelievable how accurate
they are). I have the 39 TDS 16"Bbl model (also very accurate). Mine when
used is handled very carefully because how valuable they have become and
I have all the accoutrements that came with it brand new.

The best to you and your Turkey Hunting, and your Endeavors.
