Wow!

Last one I bumped into was in a dry wash just North of the "Grapevine," the main link between Southern and Northern CA.

He was up a little ca~nada leaving some Pee-mail on a big coyote bush. He looked me for a minute and then FLEW over the bush and far up the canyon wall. You would NOT want one of those fellas after you! I was bird hunting and had a double 12 in my hands--you never saw a fat old boy reload an O/U as fast as I did in that moment: 7 1/2s out, OO in! This was about 40 miles north of downtown Hollywood.
