Rushed to get ready for the PA gun hunt. It's our tradition, after Thanksgiving, every year. The shopping can wait, but the hunt is on, no matter what.

Right?

Well, I'm sitting here writing this. high and dry. The area we planned to hunt is flooded, and the rain is coming down strong. It's a few degrees above freezing, so no ice, thanks God! Tomorrow, a slog through the mud and a little cursing the bad weather will be the order of the day. This, knowing that it's likely that the deer will be tucked in far and away all day. Tough!

Some times you win, some times you lose. It's just that I hate to lose! (OK, rant over. Back to spraying the waterproofing stuff on everything I can get my hands on.)
