When I was working regular hours, that extra hour in the afternoon added to my after work farming time. Now that I set my own work schedule, it's no advantage at all. During summer when there's longer daylight hours maybe OK but not for 8 months of the year.

When the cows are used to getting milked at 7 AM they decide when it's 7AM and tend not to believe the great white father in Washington. I gave up trying to explain it to them long ago.

Every time I heard that "excuse" the thought crossed my mind: start school an hour later! We pay a lot of people a lot of money to look over and teach our kiddies, and they can't even figure that out? Hmmm... maybe that's why so many people don't like it. They can't figure out they can modify their schedule. Sheesh...
