Well...
#1 - get back in your vehicle quickly.
#2 - drive away quietly, yet briskly.

How many people would climb a fence into a pasture to get a close look at a bull steer?

That might make for a good poll question, for NBC or CNN.

One nice evening in 1967 a friend and I were camping on a beach in NW Alaska. A small group of reindeer came wandering down a creek to the beach. My friend asked me about bulldogging at a rodeo. He'd never seen it done I tried to explain and grabbed a reindeer by the antlers and tried to twist it down onto the ground (I was only 20 and dumb then). The real problem was trying how to turn the critter loose while I flapped around like a flag in a windstorm holding on tight to those horns so he couldn't gore me. My friend wasn't much help because he was busy rolling around in the gravel laughing. Finally the reindeer stopped trying to launch me into the ocean for a moment and I took advantage to let him go and my young friend grabbed my S&W model 29 which he fired into the sea. That encouraged the reindeer to depart which he did leaving me laying in the gravel trying to get my breath back to normal. Who'da guessed it was a pretty small critter but pretty determined.

Heck, if he'd been 500lbs my friend would have to walk the 50 miles down the beach back to Kotzebue, he couldn't fly my Cub.
