I know that Facebook manipulates what appears in all sorts of ways, but wonder if anyone can answer these two questions. Why do the posts that appear on my home page change totally each time I go to Facebook? Even if I look at the items, then leave Facebook for a moment, and go back to Facebook, I often cannot even find the post that I was just looking at. And why do the posts that I make not appear at all on my home page? I wonder if they are being deleted by Facebook or if other people are seeing them but not commenting or liking. Just curious.

They want you to spend time on the FaceBook website. Other websites do this too. This is how they make more advertising revenue. Also, and I’m not sure how it works exactly, but I believe if you don’t log off, but leave it running in the background, say like on your phone, they track where you go on the internet besides FB’s website. They also want to expand their facial recognition. People are helping them right along when they “Tag” people in photos.

As Arfmel just posted, “Facebook is not your friend.”
