Well, I just found out the other day I won the lottery of life....no, really! I am the winner in the 1 in a million
male breast cancer lottery....yeah, it still sounds weird to say "I have male BREAST cancer".....
they took a sample and did the biopsy....yep, I win....go for the PET scan on Monday...and them I guess I will find out what comes next.....from the biopsy they call it stage 2B....so that is better than 4 so there is that.
If anyone of y'all know of anyone who has gone through this, and would like to share their experience, I would appreciate it. Long history of the big C in my family so having it is not a surprise, but having MALE
BREAST cancer is a shock. I am the third in the last year here in High Point so it is not common. Sigh...and on goes the circle of life.....................

Consider the prayers happening. I honestly have never before heard of male breast cancer.

Friend of mine had it...haven't seen him since retirement. He was a doctor at the at a hospital where I used to work. He went through a mastectomy, and radiation as I recall. Last I saw of him is was in recovery, putting on weight and back at work.
Sounds like they caught it fairly early, which is a good thing! Not always the case with men.

I was trying to come up with a joke, but I guess it might not go over well... here's wishing and praying for the best.... the good news is those medical people are pretty good at fixing this kind of stuff if you catch it soon enough.

Oh, I know.... have they discussed the prothesis options after the mastectomy?

I've heard of it, but never knew anyone who got it. Prayers for a positive recovery, and healing.

You're in our thoughts and prayers... The 5/10 year survival rates are greatly in your favor. Stage II is somewhere over 90%. Positive attitude is good. Being an advocate for your own health is good. Read and study everything you can about your condition from every source you can find.
