I have three grown children myself. I cannot fathom how sad and painful that must be. None of us expects to have to bury our children. My deepest sympathy for your loss and prayers for comfort and healing.

Stunned, and in shock. I compartmentalize my feelings, so I have been looking at it clinically to maintain sanity. I allow myself to grieve when alone, in the shower, on my walks, etc. of course the inevitable questions—WHY? Just married this year the man of her dreams, bought a house together, and graduated cum laude from MTSU with a Major in Spanish, and a minor in English, May of this year. Her husband is devastated, as is my son. They haven’t had to deal with death this close before, only divorce. They have a large, broad base of support of friends. So many we had to limit visitors. Forgive my ramblings. Thanks guys!

So incredible sorry to hear this, gramps. I simply can't fathom the loss of a child. My prayers are with you and all who loved her...

Wow, I can't begin to imagine losing a daughter. Know that God has a plan and that one day you will see her again.
For now she is beyond all the pain of this life and is at peace. Im sure it was great comfort to her to know you were there with her. For all you family members grieving her loss take comfort that you have a guardian angel looking out for you. I wish you all the peace that she now has in this sad time.

I have been following your daughters progression and have just checked in today to find she has passed. Please accept my sincerest condolences. I was praying for her recovery and now I continue those prayers for support to you and family. If there is anything any of can do, please don't hesitate to ask. May God Bless You.

I pray for you, your family, and her friends. Words will always be inadequate during times like these.

I hope all can find peace.

Please let us know if we can do anything.

Sorry to hear about your loss gramps; I have discovered since the loss of my spouse Ashley that it takes a long time for the ache of the loss to go away. May she have found a place in Heaven on the far side of the Pearly gates.
